This category showcases the office buildings I have designed, including rental office buildings, corporate administrative offices, university administration buildings, police headquarters, and manufacturing facility offices, among others.
The concept of open-plan office spaces has existed since the last century. However, in Vietnam today, many government agencies, public institutions, and technical institutes that followed the former Soviet model still operate with compartmentalized office layouts, where each small office is enclosed by solid partitions, much like a hotel room. Nevertheless, the trend is gradually shifting due to the economic benefits of open office spaces, such as cost savings, optimized human resources, and energy efficiency.
During this transitional phase, many workplaces have adopted open office layouts for employees, while directors’ offices remain large and lavishly decorated, resembling royal workspaces. In private enterprises, however, the structure is different—mid-level managers often work alongside employees, while higher-level executives may have only a light partition separating their space.
